Restore America – Questionable Counsels and Questions

Restore America (Exercising my 1st Amendment rights to Freedom of Speech)  QUESTIONABLE COUNSELS AND QUESTIONS  It is the duty of every patriot to protect his country from his overnment    Thomas Paine         Thomas Paine, along with the founding fathers and framers of the United States Constitution recognized the necessity to prevent government from being the masters, instead of the servants, of the people. As such they framed our Bill of Rights to include the rights, means and the responsibility of citizens to ensure that governments do not compromise or abrogate those rights.         The Preamble to the Bill of Rights signifies the importance our founders placed on controlling the powers of government wherein: THE Conventions of a number of the States, having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added: And as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government, will best ensure the beneficent ends of its institution.         However, the United States government today defies the construct of that preamble wherein the powers assumed by government transgress against the basic principles of the rights of its citizens. While the preceding text of Restore America focuses on apparent gross mismanagement and incompetence in dealing with national and international issues; the base concern is the unequivocal manifestation and implementation of policies contrary to the best interests of the United States and its citizens.         The fallacies of governmental policies, while obvious to laymen, appear to be beyond the ken of our elected officials and their associated...

Restore America – Individual Rights

Restore America (Exercising my 1st Amendment rights to Freedom of Speech) INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS The deterioration of every government begins with the decay of the principles on which it was Founded C.L. De Montesquieu         Civil rights in the minds of most Americans focuses on issues of race, gender and ethnicity ignoring the other aspects of civil rights which, through liberal interpretations and implementation, provide the tools for divisiveness and deprivation of rights to all Americans. The federal government since the January 1 1863 Emancipation Proclamation has worked on legislation to effectively eliminate racial discrimination.         While the intent of the legislative initiatives was equal treatment and opportunities for all people, through late 20th Century implementation and parochial interpretations, the resultant legislation essentially infringed on the very basic rights guaranteed to Americans through the finely crafted and enacted Bill of Rights. Fringe groups , as supported by government officials at all levels, demand usurping the rights of the majority to satisfy their isolated groups demands for unreasonable sanctions against any/all things they dislike or find offensive in Americans life and culture.         Generally, however, the government authorized sanctions provide a basis for selective double standards of implementation as well as blatant ignorance of the unacceptable consequences such interpretations and legislative acts perpetrate. Essentially, our law makers have failed to recognize the problems caused by their blind sided politically advantageous legislation as it applies to the self serving and disruptive elements of modern society. In failing to recognize the problem, our elected officials at all levels have failed us – their constituents – regardless of race, gender or ethnicity. In so...

Restore America – Illegal Immigration

Restore America (Exercising my 1st Amendment rights to Freedom of Speech) ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION _______________________________________________ NOTE: While illegal immigration has been a long standing problem for the United States, the significance of that problem has become a critical issue within the past few years and can no longer be considered solely as an economic impact on this country. With the advent of 9-11-2001 terrorist elements within the middle east have waged war against the United States and most recently, the terrorist group ISIS/ISIL has vowed to commit acts of extreme terrorism within our borders.  Illegal immigration within the past 60 yrs has increased to an intolerable level in terms of volume and motivation. Historically, the illegal immigrants were focused almost exclusively escaping poverty and oppression. However, in recent years a new focus for illegal immigration arose to include drug trafficking and terrorists infiltration into the United States. Understandably, the poverty based illegals, have debilitating impacts on our national economy, the US employment market, and our national health. However, terrorists with the tools and motivation focused on destruction of America have easy access to the United States using the illegal immigrant border crossing permissiveness to infiltrate our borders undetected.  As shown on national media, freight trains loaded with illegal infiltrators arrive at our borders daily, and our Border Patrol agents are denied the right to prevent them from entry into this country. Similarly, the Texas National Guard deployed to the border, supposedly to help control illegal entry were also constrained by government from taking necessary actions to prevent en masse border crossings. Within this scenario it is totally realistic and highly...
Restore America – National Economy

Restore America – National Economy

Restore America (Exercising my 1st Amendment rights to Freedom of Speech) NATIONAL ECONOMY         Historically, until 2007 this country has carried, what was considered a manageable annual budget deficit and an associated national debt as compared to the Gross National Product. Since the 2008 inauguration of President Obama and with the support of a Democratic controlled Senate and a lackadaisical Republican House of Representatives, our national debt has grown at an exponential rate and today (Sept 2014) at $ 17.8 trillion it has more than doubled and by 2019 it is projected (conservatively estimated) to reach beyond $ 21 trillion (Ref United States National Budgets pg 12 of this paper).        The major drivers inflating the national budget since 2007 are Health Care which increased by 163 %, the National Debt by 198.9 % and the attendant increase in the national debt have contributed to the 219.7% increase in the interest due on the National Debt .        The current level of national debt $17.8 trillion equates to a personal debt of $55,694 for every man, woman and child in the United States. If amortized at 2.89 % interest for 30 years the monthly costs per citizen would be $232.00 or $ 696 for a family of three. While that may appear to be an achievable goal in actuality, according to some economists, the United States national debt cannot be paid off because that debt continues to grow exponentially, both through interests on the debt ($ 2.17 trillion since 2008) and the continued added debt accrued through the gross budget deficit spending ($ 993.6 billion annual average since 2008)....

Restore America – National Defense and Security

Restore America (Exercising my 1st Amendment rights to Freedom of Speech) NATIONAL DEFENSE & SECURITY          When Americans consider national defense, they automatically, and erroneously, associate the defense and security of the nation as the responsibility of the military. Essentially, the military forces are the singular element of the national defense equation vested with the responsibility to maintain a credible deterrent as a diplomatic and foreign policy tool against potentially belligerent forces and/or nations. Their employment into hostile environments to resolve international disputes results from failure of America’s foreign policy and diplomatic efforts to prevent hostilities.         Since the 1960s, the United States foreign policy has been a series of vacillating non definitive misguided and misdirected blunders. The failures equally attributed to the failures of the presidents of the United States, the United States Department of State and the various national security agencies in failing to identify potential threats and diplomatic ways and means to forestall hostilities. The United States military then is the ultimate foreign policy tool with the responsibility to decisively and effectively counter offensive and aggressive actions against the United States. This responsibility extends to support of our allies in the military’s role to enforce idealistically naive and grossly mismanaged United States foreign policies.          Basically, from review of the past 50-60 years, it appears we have no definitive foreign policy, just a series of knee jerk reactions to real-time international crisis. When diplomacy and foreign aid ‘bribes’ failed to resolve international crisis, our national leaders opted to ignore the significance of the crisis and/or resorted to greater monetary rewards to appease the aggressors and forestall the inevitable confrontations....
